"Application des méthodes de la matrice de Google à l’étude des réseaux dirigés"

sous la direction de Bertrand Georgeot et Dima Shepelyansky (LPT)

Abstract  : Network science is a recent field of interest due to its ability to treat a large variety of problems by consider a collection of interconnected objects. Here we present one specific approach of the network science : the study of the directed networks. We introduce the Google matrix methods and explain the PageRank ranking system and explore its properties and its use on many various systems. We discuss also the spectral properties of the Google matrix along with the properties of its eigenvectors by considering a few applications on real systems such as C.elegans neuron network, DNA sequence network and network of the game of Go.
